It's one of the few Southwest Alaska rivers classified as "Wild and Scenic."  It won't take you long to figure out  why.

The Alagnak is one of Alaska's most diverse rivers, and it attracts one of the largest Salmon runs in the

world.

The Alagnak holds all 5 species of Pacific Salmon, trophy size Leopard Rainbow Trout, Grayling and Arctic Char.

The swift water breeds tremendous Rainbow Trout fishing through the first half of the river.

As the terrain changes, the river braids and exposes shallow fishing spots that are perfect to wade and cast.

The lower river slows and deepens leading you to hundreds of Salmon holding together in deep holes as they prepare to move up river to spawn.

Depending on when you come, you could catch nearly every species.

On your 7th night, we'll take you to Iliamna Lake Lodge where you'll enjoy a hot shower, hearty meal and comfortable bed.   It gives you a chance to relax and regroup before catching your morning flight back to Anchorage.
